Meet Board Member Patrick Bewley

“Tarrant County CASA volunteers are the true champions for our children in need. Their dedication, compassion, and willingness to stand in the gap for those who need a voice does not go unnoticed. Because of CASA volunteers, children in our community have hope, advocacy, and a brighter path forward. Thank you for the impact you make every single day!”

Why are you involved with CASA? I have always felt a deep compassion for those in vulnerable situations, and a strong desire to support people who need help accessing support they cannot secure on their own. Tarrant County CASA is the embodiment of this care and support for our most vulnerable children.

What first caused you to get invovled with CASA? I have been involved with CASA since 2017 with the Super Hero Run. I helped coordinate the Kid's Zone and was always a huge fan of all the costumes!

What keeps you coming back every month in helping CASA? Easily the people. CASA is an organization of people that care deeply for each other and the children that we support. The result of this incredible collaboration is the uplifting, life-changing support for the Tarrant County CASA youth.

What would you say to a potential supporter? There is no other organization like CASA. The way in which we support, reassure, and love the kids of Tarrant County is immeasurable. They change the trajectory of a life in a way that cannot be measured!

Why do you think it’s important for your local community to support CASA and what they do? Tarrant County CASA provides stability in the midst of difficult life challenges, uncertainty, and life-changing events. They help children reach safer, more permanent homes faster, and the impact changes long-term outcomes for the child and ultimately strengthens the community by building stronger families, safer neighborhoods, and healthier future generations.
