North Texas Giving Day: Because Childhood Can’t Wait

Childhood should be filled with friends, birthday parties, laughter and dreams about tomorrow. But for children in foster care, childhood is too often interrupted by uncertainty, trauma and difficult decisions no child should have to face.

This North Texas Giving Day, September 17, your gift to CASA of Tarrant County can help make sure a child doesn’t have to navigate those challenges alone.

An average of 50 children enter foster care in Tarrant County every month. Donations help CASA recruit, train and support volunteers who get to know these children, advocate for their best interests and continue showing up through court hearings, placements and major life transitions.

Our goal this North Texas Giving Day is $65,000, helping us reach more children with the dedicated advocacy they deserve.

Dutch Bros Buck for Kids

Your morning coffee can make an even bigger impact on Friday, September 18!

#BuckForKids is back, and Dutch Bros is making it easy to support CASA of Tarrant County. For every drink sold at five participating Arlington-area Dutch Bros locations, $1 will be donated by Dutch Bros® and the Dutch Bros Foundation® to CASA of Tarrant County.

TCU Theta CASA 5K

Lace up your running shoes and join TCU Kappa Alpha Theta for the annual TCU Theta CASA 5K on Sunday, September 20 at 8:30 a.m.

Beginning at Frog Fountain in the TCU Commons, participants can choose between a timed or untimed 5K while TCU Theta members cheer them on along the route.

The annual race has a special history. The event began in 1997 from an idea by TCU Theta member Tracy Clark and was later renamed in her memory. Today, the tradition continues while raising funds for CASA of Tarrant County and the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation, with all race proceeds donated to the two organizations.

Registration is $20, making it an easy way to get moving, gather your friends and support children in foster care at the same time.

Garage Men’s Grooming Golf Tournament

Register this month for the Garage Men’s Grooming Golf Tournament held October 24th - spots fill up fast! What started as a simple charity event to support children in foster care has grown into an annual day-long event bringing together business owners, community members and supporters of CASA from throughout Tarrant County.

Dani and Dylan Brooks host the annual Garage Men’s Grooming Golf Tournament, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting CASA of Tarrant County.
