THANK YOU FOR COMING!
The 5th Ruby Slipper Soiree reminds us all that there is “No Place Like Home” with a night of fabulous wine, food, friends and of course, shoes!
At this year’s event, guests enjoyed an array of hearty appetizers prepared by award-winning chef, Charles Youts, and The Classic at Roanoke and dessert from Nothing Bundt’ Cakes Southlake. A shoe and accessory fashion show followed, featuring designs from returning style partners Brighton, Elaine Turner, Kendra Scott and Premier Designs, modeled by Texas Christian University (TCU) Thetas. Elaine Turner, Kendra Scott and Premier Designs sold pieces from their collections at the event and donated 20 percent of all earnings to CASA!
A brief program featured Colleyville resident and 2017 Advocate of the Year Elizabeth Mattson, who discussed her experiences as a CASA advocate working directly with foster children in Tarrant County and the benefits advocates can offer these children.
